Small chocolate marbles

For a large marble or twenty small ones

  •   150g of flour

  • 100g of butter

  • 100g of dark chocolate

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 packet of yeast

Beat the melted butter with the sugar and the eggs. Once the mixture is homogeneous, add the yeast and the flour and mix again till you obtain a dough without lumps.

Meanwhile, melt the chocolate with a little milk and stir it into half of the dough.

In a buttered and floured pan, place a layer of plain dough, then a layer of chocolate, then plain dough again, or vice versa.

Cook in an oven at 180°C, for about fifteen minutes for small ones or half an hour for a big cake.

Note: you can make a variation of these little marbles by making choco/coconut marbles, adding 125g of grated coconut to the plain batter.
