The recipe is from the "little golden book of chocolate".

  • 270g of butter

  • 250g of sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 spoon of vanilla extract

  • 500g of flour

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 100g of chocolate

  • 50g of coconut

Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer until smooth.  Stir in egg and vanilla extract without over-doing it.

Add flour and a pinch of salt.

Put in a piping bag and form small heaps on a baking sheet and let cook for 10-15 minutes in the oven at 170°C (th. 6).

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Dip the cookies in it. Sprinkle shredded coconut over the warm chocolate.

Tip: You can replace the vanilla extract by vanilla sugar. For more aesthetic coating, you can spread the chocolate on the cakes with a silicone brush. And the cakes can be eaten plain.
