Almond Tuiles (thin biscuits)

For these great little cakes, you need

60g of butter

  • 3 egg whites

  • 80g of powdered sugar

  • 50g of flour

  • 50g slivered almonds

Melt the butter in the microwave. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites, powdered sugar and 50g of flour. Add the melted butter to the mixture. For those who have never made it before, it seems like liquid, but don't panic: it's normal!

Put parchment paper on a baking sheet and spread small piles of dough, the equivalent of a large teaspoon. Put slivered almonds on top and bake for 6 to 8 minutes in a 180°C oven.

At the end of baking, you can put them on something rounded like a bottle or a rolling pin to give them a slightly curved shape.
